Police Owners Group Holds National Rally 2024 to Advance Sumatra Tourism

Pekanbaru, Todaysgist.com – Police Owners Group (POG), a Harley-Davidson motorcycle community specializing in Electra and Roadking Police, is holding the 2024 POG National Rally. This year, it will explore Sumatra to help advance tourism on the island.

The start is from Pekanbaru, then Bukit Tinggi, Sibolga, and finish in Medan. Participants will cover a distance of about 947 km.

The rally began with the presentation of donations to the Al-Istiklal Orphanage and continued with the release of the Riau Police Traffic Directorate group, Senior Commissioner Taufiq Lukman Nurhidayat.

“Hopefully you will always be polite on the road, respect other road users and can be a pioneer in driving safety,” said Taufiq, in his statement, Monday (16/9/2024).

The 2024 POG National Rally involves 80 Harley-Davidson Police riders from various regions in Indonesia.

“We are very enthusiastic in holding this year’s POG National Rally, which is not only a gathering place for motorcycle lovers, but also to further introduce world-famous tourist destinations on the island of Sumatra,” said Police Owners Group President Sony Wibisono.

During the three-day trip, this activity not only focused on touring, but also carried an important mission, namely educating the public about driving safety.
