Port FC vs Persib, David da Silva Saves Maung Bandung from Defeat

Jakarta, Beritasatu.com – Persib Bandung managed to hold hosts Port FC to a 2-2 draw in the fifth match of Group F of the 2024 AFC Champions League (ACL) at Pathum Thani Stadium, Thailand, Thursday (28/11/2024).

Prince Biru took the lead through Ciro Alves’ penalty in the 17th minute, but Port FC managed to turn things around through two goals scored by Lonsana Doumbouya in the 18th and 31st minutes. Persib finally picked up a point at their opponent’s home ground after substitute David da Silva found the back of the net at the end of the match.

This result makes Persib perched at the bottom of the standings with five points. Meanwhile, Port FC is firmly in first place in Group F standings with 10 points.

The draw in the Port FC vs Persib match also means that Maung Bandung still has the opportunity to advance to the next round.
