PSSI Commissioner of Police Imposed a Fine of Rp. 70 Million on Persebaya Surabaya

Surabaya, Beritasatu.com – The Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) imposed sanctions on Persebaya Surabaya in the form of a fine of IDR 70 million. The fine is based on the results of the PSSI Disciplinary Committee (Komdis) hearing on December 11 2024, regarding the incident in the Persebaya Surabaya match against Arema FC on Saturday (7/12/2024).

Reporting from the official PSSI website, the Rp. 70 million fine came from two different incidents, but in one match. At that time, Persebaya Surabaya hosted Arema FC, Saturday (7/12/2024) at the Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium, Surabaya, East Java.

The first fine was IDR 20 million, related to incidents in the 43rd minute, 71st minute and 84th minute. At that time, mineral water bottles were thrown towards the field and Arema FC players, which was carried out by Persebaya Surabaya spectators in the 2024/2025 BRI Liga 1 Competition.

The second sanction, Persebaya received a fine from the PSSI Commissioner of IDR 50 million. At that time, an ignition violation occurred flares as many as one by the Persebaya Surabaya spectators in the South stands.

Meanwhile, Persebaya Surabaya will soon host Borneo FC at the Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium in Surabaya on Friday (20/12/2024). Currently, Persebaya remains in first place in the League 1 standings with 34 points. Meanwhile, Borneo FC is ranked 26th.
