In the continuation of the South Korean volleyball league or V-league 2024 on Saturday (7/12/2023), Hi-Pass will be strengthened by Thai national team player Thanacha Sooksod against Red Sparks, which is strengthened by Megawati Hangestri Pertiwi.

Tanacha, who is 180 centimeters tall, previously appeared in 36 matches with Hi-Pass in the 2023/2024 V-League season. During that season, he scored 365 points and became one of the team’s mainstays as a striker. This year, he also played an active role in defending the Romanian club, Rapid Bucharest.

Hi-Pass’ decision to recruit Tanacha as a replacement for the fired Yunieska Robles Bautista was made in the middle of the regular league. The team management believes that players with the ability to adapt quickly are needed, so Tanacha’s previous experience in the V-League and understanding of South Korea’s style of play are the main considerations.

In his official statement, Tanacha Sooksod expressed his enthusiasm to return to playing in the V-Leaguea and will make his debut against Megawati’s Red Sparks this weekend.
