Resolving FIFA Sanctions, Persija Jakarta Focuses on Preparations for Next Season

Liputan6.com, Jakarta – Persija Jakarta's preparations to welcome the new season were slightly disrupted due to FIFA sanctions. However, the Kemayoran Tigers were free from punishment after completing their obligations.

Persija was prohibited from recruiting players for a maximum of three transfer market periods because they had not completed a number of commitments.

Management then moved quickly so that the club could overhaul the squad to welcome the new season.

“Thank God, Persija has resolved the matters that are the basis for FIFA's sanctions. “We have coordinated with all related parties and now everything has been resolved,” said Persija Main Director Ambono Janurianto as reported by the Liga 1 website.

“Persija management has never thought about causing problems regarding player transfers. Now the problem has been overcome, it's time to focus 100 percent on the new season,” he added.

The Kemayoran Tigers have actually started preparing for 2024/2025 by taking part in a pre-season tournament at the end of May. At that time, Persija Jakarta relied on several young players who were projected for the future.

The names of young players such as Alwi Fadillah, Ammar Fadzilah, Dia Syayid Alhawari, Rafa Abdurahman, Radit Raharjo, Ihsan Siregar, Refan Nadief, Aditya Warman, Irpan Abadi and Fajar Firdaus, joined Raka Cahyana, Alfriyanto Nico and Resa Aditya.
