Samsung Enhances Galaxy Buds2 Pro’s Ambient Sound Feature, Helping Users with Hearing Loss

Liputan6.com, Jakarta – In the framework of Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD) or Global Accessibility Awareness Day, Samsung presents a new feature on the Galaxy Buds2 Pro. These updates will help users with hearing impairments enjoy the world around them more.

Updates it includes enhanced Ambient Sound features that allow users to stay aware of their surroundings. Now, the feature offers five levels of amplification that can improve hearing for more users.

The ability of the Ambient Sound feature is proven through clinical trials conducted by the University of Iowa’s Hearing Aid and Aging Research Laboratory.

This study concluded that the Galaxy Buds2 Pro significantly improves speech perception in those with mild to moderate hearing loss.

In addition, Samsung Medical Center also conducted a similar trial and found consistent results.

“Galaxy Buds2 Pro can be an effective tool to help those with mild to moderate hearing loss communicate better in quiet places,” said Samsung as quoted from Samsung Newsroom, Friday (19/5/2023).

The two tests were carried out using the newly launched highest Ambient Sound level, namely level 5.
