Samsung Galaxy S25 will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, why not use Exynos?

Previously, many leaks of the Galaxy S25 Ultra had been circulating. This cellphone is reported to have a camera with high resolution.

Most recently, the Galaxy S25 Ultra has been seen in the IMEI database. Report from Android Authorityas quoted from PhoneArenaMonday (10/6/2024), shows that this cellphone has the model number SM-S938U, with the letter “U” at the end of the country code representing the United States.

Even though the IMEI database listing is an early sign that Samsung will release the Galaxy S25 Ultra model in America next year, there are still no official leaks regarding the specifications of this cellphone in the database.

For information, a few days ago there was a leak from a leaker who said that the Galaxy S25 Ultra would use the UFS 4.1 storage type. This type has a faster data transfer speed than the UFS 4.0 used on the S24 Ultra.

Apart from that, the most affordable variant of the S25 Ultra has a 12 RAM/256GB ROM variant. Meanwhile, the 512GB and 1TB variants will use 16GB RAM.

In the photography sector, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is reported to have four cameras with a 200MP main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide sensor, a 50MP telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom capability, and a 50MP super telephoto with 5x optical zoom.

This cellphone has a powerful chipset, with Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 which has a faster clock speed, for computing processing and running more optimal Galaxy AI features. This cellphone is rumored to be released in January 2025.
