Erick also revealed that Kevin had started the process of making an ID card and passport. The next step is to move the federation so that Kevin can immediately strengthen the Indonesian national team.
According to Erick, the presence of this strong defender from FC Copenhagen will strengthen the Indonesian national team’s defense, especially ahead of the 2026 World Cup qualifying matches in the Asian zone against Japan and Saudi Arabia at the GBK Main Stadium, Senayan, on 15 and 19 November.
“The entry of Kevin Diks, who is known as a tough defender at FC Copenhagen, and is able to compete with big European teams in the Europa Conference League, will really benefit us. Not only for the next two away matches, but also for the following matches,” Erick concluded.
