The two are Dio Koebanu in the men’s 48 kg class and Aldom Sugoro in the men’s 54 kg class. ‘

Meanwhile, the other five boxers are Novita Sinandia (-52 kg female), Sarohatua Lumbantobing (71 kg male), Ratna (57 kg female), Asriudin (57 kg male) and Mikael Mustika (-84 kg male).

Especially for Ratna and Mustika, in the first round they both won Bey so they went straight to the semifinals.

In Monday evening’s match, boxer Fido Maesora, who fought in the men’s 60 kg class, lost to Malaysian boxer Muhamad Ridzuan Mohd Johari in the men’s 60 kg class. Fido lost by a narrow score of 2-3.

Meanwhile, Dio Koebanu, who competed in the men’s 48 kg class, won over Filipino boxer Mark Lester Durens.

While Aldom Sugoro, who appeared in the men’s 54 kg class, won unanimously from Singaporean boxer, Mohamed Hanurdeen Bin Hamid.

The manager of the Indonesian Boxing Team, Hengky Silatang, admitted that he had met expectations. “Thank God, today two more boxers from Indonesia have advanced to the semifinals. This has met expectations,” he explained.

Hengky also regretted Fido’s defeat by a Malaysian boxer. The reason is that until the end of the third round, Fido was superior. However, at the end of this round, Fido was caught off guard so that the opponent was able to throw in a clean punch that made the opponent take the lead.
