Shin Tae-yong explains the reasons for not playing Eliano Reijnders in the Indonesia vs Japan match

Jakarta, Beritasatu.com – Indonesian National Team Coach Shin Tae-yong, explained his reasons for not playing Eliano Reijnders in the Indonesia vs Japan match in the third round of the 2026 World Cup Qualifications in the Asian zone, Group C at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK), Friday (15/11/2024) Evening.

According to him, Eliano is not good or worthy to play for the Indonesian national team. Shin believes that the PEC Zwolle player still needs time to be trusted to appear in the Indonesian national team.

“Regarding Eliano, he can’t be in the squad because I don’t think he’s good enough, it’s still difficult for him (Eliano) to get into the squad at the moment. So I chose that way,” he told the media.
