Simone Inzaghi Named the Best Italian Coach 2024 by the PFA

Rome, Beritasatu.com – Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi was named the best Italian coach 2024 by the PFA. Inzaghi beat Gian Piero Gasperini (Atalanta) and Thiago Motta (Bologna) after receiving the most votes from members of the Italian Players Association (AIC) to receive the award.

“Of course, I am very happy to receive this award. First of all, I want to share this award with my players, because this award would not have been possible without them. I also share this award with my club, which ensures we have everything needed, and to the fans who always support us,” said Simone Inzaghi in his speech when receiving the award as Italy’s best coach at The Gran Gala del Calcio, Monday (2/12/2024) afternoon local time.

Only a few coaches can afford to rotate squad better than Inzaghi. He is currently helping Inter to second place in the Champions League standings and is still unbeaten.

“There are instruments we use to check physical fitness and how much each player runs. There are a lot of matches, all close together, so we try to adapt to this situation,” he said.

Inzaghi has been linked with a possible move to the Premier League in recent months. He was reportedly approached by Manchester United last year.

However, Inzaghi emphasized that he was very happy at Inter Milan. “I feel very appreciated by Inter and I have also been at Lazio, a club that has been part of my life for 20 years as a player and coach. “I am very happy at Inter and hope to stay for a long time,” said Simone Inzaghi, Italy’s best coach in 2024.
