Singer Gusttavo Lima speaks out about millionaire action – Cidades na Net

After the publication by the Fábia Oliveira column that Gusttavo Lima was taken to court in São Paulo, the singer spoke out through his legal advisor. According to lawyer Cláudio Bessas, Gusttavo maintained an image use contract with Frigorifico Goiás, which ended in May 2022.

Regarding the process, the advisor informed that the artist was not cited to hear the action and highlighted that the assignment of use of image is not linked to the success of the contractor's enterprise, according to decisions of the higher courts.

The expert clarified that, after the legal summons, a competent defense will be offered with a request for compensation for moral damage to the artist's image. The case, obtained exclusively by the journalist, was filed by an agricultural engineer seeking compensation of R$905,000 for material damages.

The engineer claims that, after contacting the parties, he was informed about the success of the franchise and the participation of Gusttavo Lima as a partner, promising monthly revenue of R$800,000. However, he claims that he was notified of the singer's abrupt departure from the society, causing losses. The case is being processed at the Regional Business and Disputes Court related to Arbitration.
