Sitthichai Faces Shadow, Panpayak Finds Path to Champion Title

Jakarta, Beritasatu.com – One Championship will close 2024 with the One Friday Fights 92 event at Lumpinee Stadium, Bangkok, on Friday (20/12/2024).

The main event pits muaythai legend Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong against a young star shadow Singha Mawynn in a class muaythai fight featherweight.

Sitthichai, an eight-time muaythai and kickboxing world champion, has logged 169 professional fights. Most recently, he recorded wins over Eddie Abasolo and Masaaki Noiri.

Shadow is coming off a three-fight winning streak since losing in his debut. This 24 year old fighter succeeded in overthrowing Jimmy Vienot and Mohammad Siasarani. A win over Sitthichai could pave his way to a big contract at One Championship.

In this One Championship supporting match, Panpayak Jitmuangnon will face undefeated Russian fighter Egor Bikrev in the class flyweight Muay Thai.

Panpayak, who won seven muaythai world titles, returned to the arena after a two-year absence with a dominant win over Silviu Vitez last October.

However, Bikrev posed a serious challenge. This Russian fighter has extraordinary punching power and recently recorded a first round knockout victory over Gingsanglek Wor Kumchamnarn at One Friday Fights 86.

With this victory, Panpayak can get closer to the world class title flyweight which is still empty.

This One Championship event also saw the debut of Kana Morimoto, a four-time K-1 champion, against Anissa Meksen in a match atomweight kickboxing.
