Starring in Korean Drama Romance in the House, SHINee’s Minho Initially Didn’t Want to Get Close to Son Naeun

Todaysgist.com, Jakarta The first episode of the new Korean drama starring SHINee’s Minho,Romance in the Househas started airing since Saturday (10/8/2024) on JTBC. In this drama, he plays the character Nam Tae Pyeong, a former national taekwondo player who now works as a supermarket security guard.

In fact, Nam Tae Pyeong is a chaebol, a member of a Korean conglomerate family. He is the son of the CEO of J Plus Mart. Instead of living comfortably as a child of a wealthy family, he wants to live independently.

At the supermarket where he works, Nam Tae Pyeong meets Byun Mi Rae—played by Son Naeun. This employee for the food and beverage department team is the person who is responsible for being the backbone of the family.

The meeting of these two characters apparently sowed the seeds of romance between them.

In an interview before the drama aired, the SHINee member admitted that he deliberately did not want to get close to his co-star. All of this, it turns out, was for the sake of the role.

“As the drama progresses, I think that starting (getting acquainted) awkwardly and then gradually getting closer, will be reflected in our acting naturally,” said the man named Choi Minho, as reported by Soompi on Sunday (11/8/2024).
