Take-Two Interactive Opens Voice About Launching GTA 6, When Will It Be Released?

Liputan6.com, Jakarta – Game publisher Take-Two Interactive, the parent game studio Rockstar, has not yet revealed the release date for the most anticipated game, namely Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6).

Predicted to be the biggest series from the previous GTA, Take-Two will likely release GTA 6 as soon as next year or 2024.

This was revealed through an official statement and the company’s annual earnings report, where Take-Two Interactive outlines its projections for the next few years.

As for one of the big projections from the game studio, it will occur in the 2025 and 2026 fiscal years. For context, the 2025 fiscal year starts in April 2024.

“Fiscal Year 2025 is a highly anticipated year for our Company,” quoted the company’s official statement via ignFriday (19/5/2023).

The company added, “Over the past few years, we have prepared our business to release a series of very strong projects that we believe will take the company to even greater heights.”

Furthermore, Take-Two hopes to enter a new era by releasing several game titles which are believed to set new standards in the industry.

Even though the company from the United States (US) did not specifically mention the name GTA 6, it is difficult to write off another major series that is currently being developed by the team from Take-Two.

Information, GTA V is currently the best-selling single player game of all time, and has consistently sold up to 5 million copies per quarter over the past few years.

Not only that, the company continues to pocket their main revenue through GTA Online. Previously, developer Rockstar confirmed GTA 6 was in development.

Unfortunately, until now the company has kept quiet about where the development of the latest series and the release date of GTA 6 has reached.
