Takeru Segawa Returns to Fight in One Friday Fights 81

Bangkok, Todaysgist.com – Takeru Segawa will return to action at One Friday Fights 81 after recovering from the injury he sustained from Superlek Kiatmoo9. The news of Takeru’s return was announced by One Championship in a recent Instagram post on Wednesday (24/7/2024) night.

“Takeru is back!” the announcement read.

“Who do you want to face “The Natural Born Crusher” at INE Friday Fights 81 – Live on PPV?” it continued.

The announcement also confirmed that Takeru will return at One Friday Fights 81 on Friday, September 27. The name of his opponent has not been announced further.

However, many netizens speculated about Takeru’s next opponent. Many also mentioned Rodtang Jitmuangnon’s name.

Takeru was originally scheduled to fight Rodtang in a duel. kickboxing three rounds at One 165: Tokyo earlier this year. However, due to an ongoing injury, the Iron Man had to be replaced by Superlek.

As for the world champion kickboxing retained his belt by winning via unanimous decision. The fight was fierce and full of attacks for five rounds.
