Telkomsel Launches a Package to Support Communication for Hajj Pilgrims in the Holy Land, Prices start at IDR 450,000

This state-owned telecommunications operator also operates five customer service points in Saudi Arabia, including two points in the City of Medina, namely at the Tabah Tower Hotel and Hotel Amjad Al Garaa, as well as three points in the City of Makkah, namely GraPARI Makkah at the Zam-Zam Tower, Hotel Al Kiswah Tower 4, and Hotel Arkan Bakkah 2.

At the departure of the first batch of pilgrims starting May 23, 2023, Telkomsel also held a Hajj Service Post which was present at 14 embarkation points in Indonesia, including in Aceh, Medan, Batam, Padang, Palembang, Jakarta (Pondok Gede), West Java (Bekasi) ), Solo, Surabaya, Banjarmasin, Balikpapan, Makassar, Lombok, and Kertajati.

The Hajj Service Post in Indonesia will serve various information needs, activation requests, and other requests related to Telkomsel’s products and services, before leaving for the Holy Land.

Saki added, the presence of GraPARI Makkah and Hajj Service Post in Saudi Arabia and Indonesia, serves as an information center from the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia, to pilgrims regarding Indonesian Hajj services.

This also simultaneously helps the government’s commitment to ensure the implementation of the Hajj pilgrimage in 1444 H/2023 which is friendly to the elderly, starting from the Hajj rituals, the moment of departure from the country, and during the pilgrimage period in the Holy Land.
