Temporary Rankings for PON XXI Medals, East Java and Jakarta on Top

Jakarta, Todaysgist.com – Until the 4th day of the 21st National Sports Week (PON) 2024 held in Aceh-North Sumatra, the competition for medals is getting fiercer.

As of Friday (13/9/2024) at 11.15 WIB, East Java still leads the medal tally with 64 gold, 56 silver, and 55 bronze. Jakarta is in second place with 62 gold, 62 silver, and 55 bronze.

West Java, which is in third place, actually won more medals, but only collected 60 golds. West Java has also won 62 silvers and 59 bronzes.

North Sumatra as the host is in fourth place with 33 gold, 13 silver, and 42 bronze, followed by Aceh which won 30 gold, 25 silver, and 25 bronze.

Next, Yogyakarta won 17 gold, 15 silver, and 18 bronze. Central Java 15 gold, 21 silver, 44 bronze. Bali 14 gold, 15 silver, 23 bronze. Lampung 13 gold, 12 silver, and 12 bronze. While Banten is in 10th place with 12 gold, 7 silver, and 17 bronze.
