Thailand to Host 2025 FIVB Women’s Volleyball World Championship

Jakarta, Todaysgist.com – The International Football Federation (FIVB) and Volleyball World announced that Thailand will host the 2025 FIVB Women’s Volleyball World Championship. The tournament has been guaranteed by the Thai Government.

FIVB, Volleyball World and the Thai Volleyball Association (TVA) signed an agreement on Friday (30/8/2024) to host the event. T

The 2025 FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship will see 32 of the world’s best women’s national teams compete for World Championship glory.

The agreement was signed by FIVB President Ary S Gracia and TVA President Somporn Chaibang.

Thailand was chosen as the host country following a rigorous evaluation process among several strong candidates. The decision came shortly after Bangkok hosted the VNL Finals for the first time.

Thailand is hosting the Women’s Volleyball World Championship for the first time.
