The Citizens Only Draw, Guardiola Expresses Disappointment

Jakarta, Beritasatu.com – Manager Pep Guardiola looked very disappointed and surprised by his team’s performance when they played 1-1 in the Man City vs Everton match, Thursday (26/12/2024) in the Premier League match coinciding with Boxing Day.

Pep Guardiola’s current reaction is very serious because City is increasingly losing ground, not only in the title race but in the competition for the top four positions.

“Yes, we have to try, confidence will come with results because that is always in our minds. The performance against Everton was really cool. Defensively, offensively. “We shot a lot in the penalty box, but unfortunately we couldn’t get the result we wanted,” he said.

When asked what he wanted to see from his team against Leicester on Sunday (29/12/2024), Guardiola only talked about mentality. “It’s recovery, only three days, and we have to go there with the best mentality. That’s all we need to do,” said Guardiola.
