This isn’t the first time the Galaxy Z Flip6 Olympic Edition has been used for selfies by athletes from various nations on their victory podiums at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Quoting the Samsung Newsroom page, Sunday (4/8/2024), Samsung said that the presence of the Galaxy Z Flip6 Olympic Edition allows athletes to create various new, more personal memories when celebrating their victory on the podium with a victory selfie powered by Galaxy.
In a first for the Olympics, medalists at Paris 2024 documented the ceremonial moment from their own perspective as they were presented with the Galaxy Z Flip6 Olympic Edition on the podium to take a Victory Selfie after receiving their Olympic medals.
Just for information, the selfie photos are uploaded automatically and wirelessly to the Athlete365 portal.
This way, athletes can share their moments in a whole new way – true to Samsung’s belief that ‘Open always wins’ and openness creates new perspectives and endless opportunities.
