The club are reportedly keen to bring the No.6 to Old Trafford in the coming days, with the position set to be the ‘final piece of the puzzle’, according to The Athletic.

In that regard, Manchester United have made a bid to Championship club Burnley for defensive midfielder Sander Berge. However, the offer is still short of the £30 million valuation set for the player.

Meanwhile, Manuel Ugarte appears to be United’s preferred option, but that is if Paris Saint-Germain are prepared to lower their asking price for the Uruguayan.
