A cryptocurrency trader managed to make a highly profitable bet with just $135 invested in a single token. And when the token appreciated by more than 10,000%, the small bet turned into a $1.2 million fortune in just 15 days.

This token, called Terminus (TERMINUS), was launched a few days ago and saw its price skyrocket, making the trader a millionaire. The recent transaction is yet another in a series of tokens that have made traders huge fortunes with their appreciation.

Instead of trading popular cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and others, the trader preferred to bet on newly launched tokens. One of his bets was Terminus, on which the trader earned $1.2 million, a total return of almost 90,000% in just 15 days.

However, he is not the only trader making big profits at the moment, as another trader made 1.8 million in NEIRO token, showing the dominance of memecoins. NEIRO has fared much worse, with gains of “just” 220% in the last seven days.

Trader makes $1.2 million in 15 days with unknown token

According to data from Lookonchain, the trader spent $135 on purchasing 3.46 million TERMINUS on September 8. By September 21, the total was worth $124.3 thousand, which was a profit of 920 times. This number was already impressive, but the trader didn’t stop there and held on to his tokens.

As a result, his profits have increased by almost 10 times in just three days. Lookonchain also revealed that the same $135 turned into $1.2 million on Tuesday (24), generating a return of 9,000 times on the initial investment.

This comes after the price of the Terminus token surged by over 10,000% in fifteen days, with the token’s price having skyrocketed 10-fold in the last four days alone, with the market cap rising from $3.5 million to $35 million in that time.

The Terminus token has delivered significant gains to investors due to these sudden price spikes. However, there is also a risk of flash crashes due to liquidity concerns.

The crypto trader managed to buy billions of Terminus tokens when the price was just $0.000039. However, the price increased several times, where $135 became $1.2 million.

At the time of reporting, the Terminus token price is at $0.4072, which makes these 3.46 million tokens now worth $1.4 million. Furthermore, the token has even broken a record market cap, reaching $41.7 million.
