At Polymarket, as expectations grow for Donald Trump’s return to the White House, many observers are focused on his possible actions in power, especially regarding the use of presidential pardons.
On the Polymarket predictions market, one of the most intriguing bets revolves around who Trump might pardon in his first 100 days in office. Among the most quoted names are Ross Ulbricht, the creator of Silk Road, and Roger Ver, known as “Bitcoin Jesus”.
According to Polymarket rules, participants bet on who will receive a pardon, commutation or pardon from the president by April 29, 2025.
The prediction of “yes” will be considered valid should Trump issue any of these measures for individuals listed on the market.

The list includes names from diverse political and social spheres, such as US Marine Corps veteran Daniel Penny, Silk Road creator Ross Ulbricht and cryptocurrency entrepreneur Roger Ver, among others.
At the moment, Ulbricht is the second most popular name, with a 65% chance of being forgiven. Businessman Roger Ver follows closely behind, with a 55% probability. This increase in bets reflects growing expectations, especially among supporters of these two names, who already fuel the desire for Trump’s clemency.
The case of Ross Ulbricht, convicted of operating the online marketplace Silk Road, came to prominence after Trump pledged during his 2020 campaign to commute his sentence. Ulbricht is serving a life sentence without the possibility of parole.
Roger Ver, who has been involved in legal disputes with the United States government, faces tax charges, which he describes as “objectively false and unconstitutional”. The #FreeRoger campaign has already collected 590 signatures on its websitereinforcing the appeal for his forgiveness.
Although other names such as Sam Bankman-Fried and Edward Snowden also appear on the list, Ulbricht and Ver are the most talked about on the market.
The current political climate, combined with Trump’s promises during his campaign and the outpouring of support for these individuals, suggests that the former president may consider flagship clemencies.
