U-20 Asian Cup draw, Indonesia is in Pot 3

Jakarta, Todaysgist.com – The Indonesian U-20 national team is in pot 3 in the 2025 Asian Cup draw. The schedule for the championship group division which is held every two years has not yet been determined, but the AFC has determined the pot for each team.

As winner of group F in qualifying, Indonesia is in the same pot with Saudi Arabia (winner of group D), Syria (winner of group A), and Kyrgyztan (winner of group A).runner-up group I). Thus, it is impossible for Indonesia to be in the same group as the teams in pot 3.

Meanwhile, the teams considered the strongest are in pot 1. In this pot there are China (host), Uzbekistan, Iraq and Japan. In pot 2 there are South Korea, Australia, Iran and Jordan.

Meanwhile in pot 4 there are teams that are considered the weakest in this championship, namely Qatar, Thailand, Yemen and North Korea. The 16 participants who qualify for the final round will be divided into four groups, each consisting of four teams.

The final round of the U-20 Asian Cup will be held in China on 6-23 February 2025. The four teams that qualify for the semifinals will automatically appear in the 2025 U-20 World Cup which will be held in Chile.
