Victor Osimhen Rejects Chelsea to Play for PSG

Jakarta, Todaysgist.com – Napoli striker Victor Osimhen is reportedly set to reject Chelsea’s offer and would prefer to join Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in this summer’s transfer window.

According to a report from Italian FootballThursday (15/8/2024), Osimhen is more interested in joining PSG because Chelsea will not participate in the Champions League this season.

PSG are reportedly looking for a new striker following the departure of Kylian Mbappe, who decided to continue his career at Real Madrid after his contract with The Parisians ended, and Osimhen became one of the main candidates to be brought in.

If Osimhen ends up choosing PSG, this could hamper Romelu Lukaku’s transfer from Chelsea to Napoli in this transfer window.

Osimhen was previously part of a potential deal for Lukaku to move from Chelsea to Napoli, but after weeks of negotiations, no deal has been reached.
