West Ham vs Arsenal, Saka becomes the star of the Gunners’ goal party

London, Beritasatu.com – Bukayo Saka was the star in the Gunners’ goal party in the Premier League. The visitors won the West Ham vs Arsenal match with a score of 5-2 at the Olympic Stadium, London, Sunday (1/12/2024).

Saka was one of five different goalscorers for Arsenal at the Olympic Stadium. Saka, the English winger recorded 10 assists this season with five goals. He did so in 12 of 13 games. “I really enjoy creating chances and scoring goals, but the biggest pleasure is winning,” said Saka.

“Let’s maintain this performance. What is certain is that in the last three matches we have recovered,” added Saka.

All goals in the match occurred in the first half. This is the fourth time since the Premier League began in 1992 that seven goals have been scored in a single match before half-time.

The Gunners quickly took the lead in the 10th minute after a corner kick was met by Gabriel Magalhaes’ header which found the back of West Ham’s goal so the score changed to 1-0.

Arsenal became even more enthusiastic after taking a quick lead. They launched an attack and managed to double their lead to 2-0 through Leandro Trossard’s goal after receiving Bukayo Saka’s pass.

The visiting team had a golden opportunity to increase their lead after being awarded a penalty kick by the referee because Bukayo Saka was fouled in the forbidden box by Lucas Paqueta.

Captain Odegaard, who was the executioner, successfully carried out his duties well after his shot could not be stopped by West Ham goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski so the score changed to 3-0 in the 34th minute.

Mikel Arteta’s squad was four goals ahead after 36 minutes of the game after Kai Havertz received Trossard’s pass and scored against West Ham. The score changed to 4-0.

West Ham reduced the goal difference to 1-4 after Aaron Wan-Bissaka scored in the 38th minute. In front of their supporters, West Ham reduced the deficit again two minutes later after Emerson Palmieri’s free kick found the back of the Arsenal goal guarded by David Raya. The score changed to 2-4.
