What functions of the National Data Center are currently experiencing disruption?

The Ministry of Communication and Information (Kominfo) also apologized for the disruption at PDNS-2.

In an official statement from Kominfo, Saturday (22/6/2024), the Director General of Informatics Applications, Kominfo, Semuel Abrijani Pangerapan, said that over the last few days, steps to restore the PDN server from disruption have been carried out.

Kominfo also revealed the progress of PDN server recovery. One of them stated that immigration services such as passports, visas, residence permits and crossings had started to operate again.

“Some immigration services via autogate at Soekarno Hatta Airport have resumed operations in stages. Meanwhile, efforts are still being made to restore autogate services at other airports,” said Semuel in a statement.

Furthermore, so that the immigration process can run, a combination service with manual verification is still carried out by the Directorate General of Immigration, Ministry of Law and Human Rights.

Furthermore, the man known as Semmy revealed that Kominfo is trying to make recovery efforts as quickly as possible while paying attention to precautionary aspects and prioritizing the interests of the public and service users.

“These efforts were carried out intensively together with PT Telkom as organizer of the Data Center, the National Cyber ​​and Crypto Agency (BSSN), the Indonesian Police (Polri), and related Ministries or Institutions,” said Semuel.

Meanwhile, in terms of immigration services, Kominfo collaborates with the Directorate General of Immigration, Ministry of Law and Human Rights.
