WhatsApp Channel Search Made Easier, Now Available Per Category

Another feature is that now, a Channel will be able to have up to 16 admins, to help manage updates.

Meanwhile, for followers, WhatsApp users will be able to share updates in a Channel to their status.

To do this, users simply long-press on a Channel update, click “Forward”, then select “My Status” on the post that they feel is interesting to share.

In his written statement, the latest WhatsApp features for this Channel have started to be launched now.

Last November 2023, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced that monthly active users of WhatsApp Channels had reached 500 million users.

“500 million active users on WhatsApp Channels in the first 7 weeks. Great to see the WA community so engaged,” said Mark Zuckerberg via his official Channel, quoted Thursday (11/16/2023).
