White Tiger Determined to Bounce Back from Defeat in First Match

Solo, Todaysgist.com – Persik Kediri is determined to bounce back when facing PSS Sleman in the second week of Liga 1 at Manahan Stadium, Solo, Monday (19/8/2024) at 15.30 WIB.

Squad nicknamed the White Tigers, they slumped after suffering a home defeat in their first match against Bali United with a score of 1-3.

“We did not get good results from the previous home game. Now we have to try to get points in the away game against PSS Sleman,” said Persik Kediri coach Marcelo Rospide, during a press conference ahead of the match, Sunday (18/8/2024).

Marcelo estimated, squad His team will not play easily against the hosts who will have the support of their supporters even though they are playing in Solo. Even so, he and the players have prepared themselves well.

Seeing the first match against Bali United last week, he hopes that Persik players must minimize individual errors. That way, Persik Kediri is believed to get maximum results in this match.

According to him, PSS Sleman is a team that is always difficult for Persik to face. He said that in the last season’s League 1 match, Persik suffered a defeat in the away game. “Then during the home game, we were ahead, but ended up drawing,” he explained.

Meanwhile, Persik player Leo Navacchio, admitted that he would do his best to get a positive result in this match. As a new foreign player, he admitted that he felt more comfortable than before.
