XL Axiata Adds 22 4G BTS in Nusa Penida Bali

Todaysgist.com, Jakarta – XL Axiata expands and improves the quality of their network throughout Indonesia. The latest for the Bali, Nusa Penida, and Nusa Lembongan areas which are famous as tourist areas, traffic on the XL network has experienced a high increase in traffic from year to year.

XL Axiata also strengthened the network quality in the Klungkung Regency area by adding 22 new 4G BTS units in Nusa Penida and its surroundings.

With the presence of 22 BTS 4G, XL Axiata promises better network quality. As a result, good network quality has an impact on increasing productivity through digitalization in the economic, social, and cultural sectors.

XL Axiata Director & Chief Technology Officer, I Gede Darmayusa, said, “Nusa Penida and Nusa Lembongan are one of the most popular tourist destinations in Bali. In addition to the increasing number of tourists, local community activities also continue to increase, which among other things has an impact on the increase in XL Axiata internet service access traffic.”

According to XL Axiata’s internal data, in the last two years, XL Axiata’s traffic on these two islands has increased by 99 percent.

“With the addition of 22 new 4G BTS units each in Nusa Penida and 2 units in Nusa Lembongan, we hope that internet and telecommunication services can be better and can meet the needs of local people and tourists,” said Gede.

Head of Network Operations XL Axiata Region East, Mochamad Irwan Harahap, explained that currently XL Axiata’s data network has reached all villages (16 villages) on Nusa Penida and Nusa Lembongan Islands.
