YouTube Makes It Easier for Creators to Share Channels: Just Scan a QR Code

Todaysgist.com, Jakarta – YouTube is reportedly going to introduce a new way for creators to easily share their channels with their audiences, via QR codes.

This feature will be available to all creators worldwide, and can be accessed directly through the YouTube application. Quoted from Phone ArenaFriday (08/30/2024), here’s how to create a QR code for a channel on this platform:

1. Open the YouTube application on your cellphone (Android or iOS).
2. Tap the “You” tab at the bottom.
3. Under your channel name, there will be a “Share channel” button.
4. Just tap. In the menu that appears, tap “QR code”.
5. Well, a QR code will appear full screen which you can save in the gallery or screenshot. This QR code also shows your channel logo, so it’s easy to recognize.

In the past, creators often had to use third-party apps to create QR codes for their YouTube channels, and sometimes had to deal with ads or limited customization options.

However, YouTube now has this feature directly in its application. So, creators can share their channels more easily, and of course more user friendly.
