YouTube Music Releases Hum-to-Search Feature: Search for Songs Just by Humming

With this integration, users can use Gemini to later access, search for songs, manage playlists, including commands to run playback on YouTube Music.

Quoting information from 9to5Google, Friday (10/5/2024), this integration is known from the presence of a new option to connect YouTube Music with Gemini. This option appears from the latest update to the Google application on Android.

Just to note, Google itself has previously activated several Gemini integrations for other services, such as Flights, Hotels, Maps, including the Workspace productivity application and YouTube.

Even though the leak is known, this integration has not been officially released. Reportedly, this integration is planned to be present in the Extensions menu in Gemini.

For information, Google continues to strive to make Gemini AI easier for users to access. Most recently, the internet giant has reportedly started rolling out Gemini access directly in Google Chrome.

Through this access, Chrome users can directly access AI services via a new address. This information is known from feature trials that have started in mid-April 2024.

Now, this feature has started to be rolled out to general users. Information about the presence of Gemini AI direct access was also announced via the official Google Chrome Twitter account.

“Start your chat with Gemini quickly using the shortcut in the Chrome desktop address bar,” wrote Chrome in its official account. It is said that this feature can be accessed with the latest version of Chrome, namely 124 stable.
