Yuga Labs Founder Announces New Project for Bored Apes Franchise
Todaysgist.com, Jakarta Yuga Labs Co-Founder Greg Solano revealed Bored Ape's development plans. Greg Solano, co-founder of Yuga Labs, provides the latest information about the projects they are working on via the X account.
Launch CoinGapeMonday (27/5/2024), one of the main developments is ODK, a platform designed to create and monetize 3D games and social experiences (social experience) in the crypto world. This shows Yuga Labs' focus on expanding into the gaming world.
The Web3 company is also working on Project Dragon, a shooting game that Solano says is set around one of the world's most absurd team fight plots. The Yuga Labs boss confirmed that the game was designed with the same tools used to create ODK.
Apart from that, Solano also launched ApeFest. This is an event where thousands of Bored Ape owners from 56 countries will gather at the 15th Century Monastery. To make this event special, Solano revealed that merchandise will be made and distributed as expected.
To further add value to the Yuga Labs ecosystem, Solano revealed that the team is exploring BAYC integration with other physical goods.
Yuga Labs has been in the news lately with the recent layoff of several of its staff as part of a major restructuring move.
