Already Got 4 Players, Juventus Still Chasing 3 More in Summer 2024

Liputan6.com, Jakarta- Juventus is one of the clubs that is very active in the 2024 summer transfer market. In order to satisfy new coach Thiago Motta, Juve has moved quickly to recruit players since the player transfer market opened on July 1, 2024.

As of July 18, 2024, Juventus have secured four players at the Allianz Stadium. There are two midfielders Khephren Thuram and Douglas Luiz and goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio. Juventus has also secured Juan Cabal from Hellas Verona.

The Colombian player underwent a medical with Juventus on Thursday (18/7/2024) afternoon WIB. His transfer is almost certain to happen because the two clubs have reached an agreement.

Cabal's purchase will not end Juventus' hunt for players. Juventus sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli said on Thursday (18/7/2024) that his team is still pursuing three more new players.

“We want to sign at least three more players, we are working on it,” Giuntoli was quoted as saying by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

Juventus is still actively hunting for new players to fulfill Motta's wishes. The former Bologna coach wants a fat team so that it is easy to rotate players.

“We have sold four players and acquired four new players. We aim to bring in one more player for each position,” Giuntoli said.
