Complete Schedule, Results and Standings for the 2024 AFF U-16 Cup: Indonesian National Team Aims for Third Title

Liputan6.com, Jakarta – The 2024 AFF U-16 Cup will take place in Solo, Central Java, from 21 June to 4 July. The tournament will be broadcast by Emtek Group via Indosiar and Vidio.

Host Indonesia is in Group A. Nova Arianto's troops will compete against Singapore, the Philippines and Laos.

Group B contains Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia and Brunei Darussalam. Meanwhile, Thailand, Australia, Malaysia and Timor Leste are elbow to elbow in Group C.

A total of six countries have won this event, with the Indonesian U-16 National Team winning the title twice in 2018 and 2022.

Appearing in front of their own supporters, Garuda Nusantara is of course aiming for the third honor which will bring them to match the collections of Thailand (2007, 2011, 2015) and Vietnam (2006, 2010, 2017) as the most successful contestants.

Based on the competition system, only group winners will automatically qualify for the knockout rounds of the 2024 AFF U-16 Cup. They will be accompanied by the best runners-up to compete in the semifinals.
