Microsoft has just revealed some surprising news regarding the structure and subscription prices of their Game Pass service.

It was stated that the price of the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription will increase to USD 19.99/month (Rp. 323 thousand) from USD 16.99.

In addition, the tech giant will also change the structure of the Game Pass subscription service for their consoles.

Quoting PolygonFriday (12/7/2024), the Game Pass service for the cheapest Xbox console will be removed and replaced with the new Standard Xbox Game Pass.

It is explained that the new Xbox Game Pass Standard service will not include the ability for gamers to play games released day one on the platform, such as the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.

This change will take effect immediately, with new customers no longer being able to subscribe to Xbox Game Pass for console.

Meanwhile, gamers who have subscribed to Game Pass for consoles and activated automatic payment renewal can continue to use this service.

This means that existing customers can still access and play a number of new game titles released on the first day.
