Indonesian Men’s National Volleyball Team Ranked 53rd in the World

Jakarta, Beritasatu.com– The Indonesian men’s national volleyball team is stuck in 53rd place in the world after collecting 59.29 points.

Quoting the Volleyball World page, it was reported BetweenSaturday (27/7/2024), the Red and White volleyball team dropped one level in the Federation Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB) world rankings due to a number of countries taking part in qualifying matches for the 2024 Paris Olympics and the Volleyball Nations League.

In the top five in the world, Poland is in the top position by securing 422.61 points. Below Poland, there is Japan which has now collected 361.02 points. Meanwhile, Italy is in third place by packing 345.39 points.

Then, in fourth place is the host of the 2024 Olympics, France, which secured 344 points. Meanwhile, Slovenia is ranked fifth in the world after collecting 340.39 points.

In the ranking list, Indonesia is still in ninth position in the Asian zone. At the top of Asia, Japan is perched, which is now ranked second in the world.

In second place is Iran which secured 185.07 points and is ranked 15th in the world. While in third place in the Asian zone is Qatar which is ranked 21st in the world by collecting 151.46 points.

In fourth place is China which is ranked 26th in the world with a collection of 144.02 points. Then South Korea is in fifth place in the Asian zone after being ranked 29th in the world with a collection of 138.48 points.

In the Southeast Asia region, Indonesia still occupies the top position even though it continues to be closely followed by Vietnam, which is currently ranked 54th in the world by securing 58.91 points.

Then, in third place in the Southeast Asian zone followed by the Philippines which is ranked 61st in the world with 46.69 points. While Thailand is ranked fourth in the Asian zone and is ranked 62nd with a collection of 46.43 points.
