Not her husband, Areum, former T-Ara, is now accused of domestic violence against children

Liputan6.com, Jakarta – After accusing her ex-husband of domestic violence (KDRT) some time ago, now Areum, former T-Ara, has been accused of child abuse. Not alone, his mother was also charged in the same case.

According to the Dispatch report published on the Allkpop page on Monday (3/6/2024), the case of the singer born in 1994 has been transferred to the prosecutor's office for child abuse and kidnapping. In fact, Areum and her mother are also prohibited from approaching their children until July 21.

Previously, the K-Pop idol mantal accused her ex-husband, aka Kim Yong Gul, of physically abusing her two children by including several photos, such as light bruises on the child's skin, and a crushed big toenail on her social media.

Not only that, Areum also uploaded a recording of a conversation with her eldest son who recounted the harsh treatment he claimed his father had inflicted on him. At that time, he claimed that his baby, who was less than a year old, was often thrown into bed.

Areum also accused her ex-husband of using the children as an outlet for his anger, even saying (sorry) of spitting on, urinating on, and even smearing dirt on their children's faces.
