This Sunday (02) the news that singer Luan Santana had had a “sudden illness” before a show he would perform in the city of Divinópolis, in the interior of Minas Gerais, took over the internet and social networks.

The information spread after the Communication department of the Rural Union of Divinópolis, organizer of Divinaexpo, released a note explaining the reason for canceling the countryman's presentation at the event.

“Due to a health problem, Luan Santana's show that would take place tonight, June 1st, at Divinaexpo, was not held. Upon arriving at Brigadeiro Cabral airport, in Divinópolis, the artist had a sudden illness, immediately requiring air transport to the Albert Einstein hospital in São Paulo, where Luan Santana remains hospitalized, under medical care”.

However, given the repercussions, the singer's own Communications Office went public to state that the countryman was feeling unwell. According to the note, on May 28, he felt unwell and was “unwell and feverish”. He was then taken to Albert Einstein Hospital and the doctor who treated him asked him to cancel his concert schedule. However, he decided to continue performing. After this Saturday's “malaise” in Divinópolis, Luan is at home, in complete rest.

The event management highlights that they were as surprised as the public, as everything was ready to welcome him, including the singer's entire team was already present at the Divinaexpo premises.

“Following medical recommendations, Luan Santana is at absolute rest at his home in Alphaville. The singer is recovering from an illness that led him to cancel a show in Divinópolis (MG), June 1st. It is worth mentioning that, on Tuesday (28), after feeling unwell and feverish, Luan underwent a medical consultation at Albert Einstein Hospital, Alphaville Unit, with doctor Caio Godoy Rodrigues, who advised him to immediately suspend all activities to remain at complete rest.”

The Advisory did not say when the country singer will return to his concert schedule.
