Liputan6.com, Jakarta – Crypto trading platform Nanovest highlights the two largest crypto assets currently, namely Bitcoin and Ethereum. Recently, the price of Bitcoin was predicted to rise to USD 150,000. Meanwhile, the price of Ethereum (ETH) is predicted to touch USD 8,000.

This increase was mainly triggered by several events throughout this week, one of which was a statement by market analyst from Standard Chartered Bank, Geoffrey Kendrick.

Kendrick expressed his views bullish against Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) where significant inflows into ETH Bitcoin spot will encourage BTC prices to rise at the end of 2024. Standard Chartered also added that the target for ETH is now 116% below the price figure smart contracts.

“Previously, the approval of the spot Ethereum ETF by the SEC was also a major highlight, because this decision was considered to be a profitable strategic step because it could provide wider access to investors and increase the liquidity of the crypto market as a whole,” said Nanovest in a written presentation, quoted on Sunday (2 /5/2024).

“This decision will also impact the future exchange rate of Ethereum, where this positive boost could herald a new era for investors seeking exposure to digital assets through more traditional and regulated instruments. “Purchasing activity is also expected to increase both on centralized exchanges and blockchain-based exchanges,” he continued.

Nanovest, citing a report by The Motley Fool, explained that the combination of spot ETF approval and the Bitcoin Halving could also have a strong influence on the prices of Bitcoin and Ethereum, along with other altcoins throughout this year.
