Well, older iPhones don't get the latest AI features in iOS 18

For your information, since some time ago, rumors about the capabilities of iOS 18 have been circulating on the internet. In fact, to improve its capabilities, the company is reportedly preparing to collaborate with OpenAI.

Based on reports circulating, Apple and OpenAI are currently reportedly in intense discussions to bring ChatGPT to their products.

According to Mark Gurman's report, as quoted from Android Authority, Tuesday (28/5/2024), Apple and OpenAI have reached an agreement for OpenAI to provide a chatbot feature in iOS 18.

He added that this agreement would be part of Apple's WWDC event in June 2024.

Even though they have agreed to an agreement with OpenAI, Apple is said to want to incorporate all circulating AI technology into their platform.

The report says that Apple is also still offering a deal with Google to provide Gemini as an additional option.

However, Apple also plans to develop its own AI technology. According to reports, Apple is also working on an Ajax AI model for on-device text analysis, smart replies, and AI-based summarization.

In other words, the OpenAI agreement is said to be that the application of ChatGPT technology will be used for heavier AI tasks, such as analyzing longer texts, creating images, and similar tasks that require higher performance.
