Yoo Ah In Accused of Sexual Assault on Man in His 30s, Now Under Police Investigation

Liputan6.com, Seoul – Not yet finished with the legal problems related to the drug case that ensnared him, now Yoo Ah In has a new problem. This time the police are investigating him over accusations filed by a man regarding sexual violence.

Reported from Soompi And The Korea Times, On Friday (26/7/2024), the Seoul Yongsan Police confirmed a complaint from a man in his 30s referred to as A.

Yonhap News reported that Yoo Ah In was being investigated on charges of “imitation rape.” This type of charge is applied to cases of same-sex rape.

A claims that Yoo Ah In sexually assaulted her on July 14 while she was sleeping in an apartment in Yongsan, Seoul. The crime scene was not Yoo Ah In’s residence, nor A’s.

In addition, it was mentioned that there was another man present at the scene at the time of the incident. A has testified about the incident on July 25, and he tested negative in a drug test.

“We have not contacted the accused (Yoo Ah In) regarding this case. We plan to summon him for questioning soon,” the police said.

Police also raised the possibility that Yoo Ah In committed this crime while under the influence of drugs.
