Pahabol is absent from defending the club nicknamed White Tiger which will play an away match against Persis Solo at the Manahan Stadium, Saturday (24/2 /2024) tomorrow.

Pahabol is running to become a legislative candidate for the Papua Mountains Province DPRD for the electoral district (dapil) of Papua Mountains 6 (Yahukimo Regency). This player who is known for his smile is advancing through the PDI-P Party vehicle with serial number 8.

Persik Kediri coach Marcelo Rospide said he was still focused on the existing players when facing Persis Solo. If Pahabol rejoins the club, this will be good news. Pahabol has asked for personal permission for his participation in the 2024 elections.

“We will focus on the team. When Pahabol comes back, it will be good. We will start again, but now we don't have many options,” said Marcelo.

Apart from Pahabol, Marcelo said that one player who had to be absent due to accumulated yellow cards was Hamra Hehanusa. Hamra, who has always been the first choice for the club nicknamed the Tigers, had to be absent because he had accumulated cards.

Hamra last received a yellow card when Persik Kediri faced the strong Bali United team at the Brawijaya Stadium in the 24th week. Marcelo admitted that he had prepared another player, namely Ahmad Agung, to replace Hamra in the match week 25.

“Ahmad Agung has taken good responsibility when replacing Hamra in the previous two matches against Persib and PSM. Agung has the capacity to replace Hamra,” he explained.
