Barcelona Aims for 18-Year-Old Player from Türkiye
– Barcelona are working hard to sign the 18-year-old sensation from Turkey, Arda Guler.
The name Arda Guler has been the talk of Carcelona fans in recent weeks. The 18-year-old sensation has been linked with several top clubs across Europe, as he has an €18 million release clause in his contract at Fenerbahce.
Barcelona and Real Madrid are both interested in signing Guler, although the former appears to be in the best position to seal a deal. Deco, their new Sporting Director, traveled to Istanbul on Thursday to discuss a deal with Fenerbahce, as well as Guler’s agent.
When asked by Esports3 On the matter, Joan Laporta confirmed that Barcelona are working on a deal to sign Guler, with Deco spearheading the negotiations.
La Liga has given Barcelona the green light to sign Guler. But the Catalan club are unlikely to be able to sign him this summer due to their financial problems. However, a deal for next year appears to be a real possibility.
There appears to be a growing belief from within Barcelona that they can strike a deal for Guler. The player who has defended the Turkish national team four times will be a sensational business, both for now and in the future.
