Coachella Music Festival Collaborates with OpenSea to Launch Access-Opening NFT Collection

Previously it was reported that in the second week of February 2024 there was an increase in sales of Non Fungible Tokens (NFT). The latest data shows that NFT transactions reached USD 277.79 million or the equivalent of IDR 4.3 trillion (assuming an exchange rate of IDR 15,590 per US dollar) on 21 different blockchain platforms, marking an increase of 16.8%.

Reporting from Bitcoin.com, Monday (19/2/2024), on the other hand, the number of NFT buyers fell 80.74%, and sellers fell 78.71%. Ethereum led the way in the past seven days, collecting sales of USD 148.49 million or the equivalent of IDR 2.3 trillion, with Bitcoin trailing at sales of USD 52.97 million or the equivalent of IDR 825.8 billion.

Ethereum NFT sales jumped 99.08%, while Bitcoin fell 20.67%. Sales of Solana-based NFTs were also hit, falling 21.16% to USD 39.84 million or the equivalent of IDR 621.1 billion. Following Ethereum (ETH), Bitcoin (BTC), and Solana (SOL) in NFT sales are Polygon and Mythos.

Polygon's sales fell to USD 8.23 ​​million or equivalent to IDR 128.3 billion, a decrease of 20.23%, while Mythos managed to buck the trend with an increase of 11.43%, with total sales of USD 6.23 million or equivalent to IDR 97 ,1 billion.

The leading NFT collection this week was Pandora Ethereum, earning USD 56.78 million or the equivalent of IDR 885.4 billion. Behind it is Ethereum Nothing, which achieved sales of USD 15 million or the equivalent of IDR 233.9 billion.
