Exhuma Film Star Choi Min Sik Recalls Childhood Memories, Watching Korean Shamanic Rituals

Exhuma itself tells the story of two shamans or shamans, Hwa Rim (Kim Go Eun) and Bong Gil (Lee Do Hyun) who are called to help a rich Korean family in Los Angeles, United States.

In solving this case that has its roots in a family funeral, these two shamans are assisted by feng shui expert Sang Deok (Choi Min Sik) and funeral attendant Young Geun (Yoo Hae Jin).

The topic of Korean shamanism is not something foreign to Choi Min Sik. This Korean actor apparently often witnessed the actions of traditional Korean shamans during his childhood.
