Goodbye Earth will be broadcast soon, Netflix will release a statement regarding the fate of Yoo Ah In, who was involved in a drug case
Liputan6.com, Jakarta Netflix's new series Goodbye Earth was originally scheduled to be released in 2023. However, the release date was postponed because Yoo Ah In, one of the main stars, tested positive for cocaine, ketamine, marijuana and illegal use of propofol.
After experiencing delays, Netflix finally officially announced that the series, which also features actress Ahn Eun Jin, would air on April 26 2024. At the same time, the production party gave a statement regarding Yoo Ah In's fate.
“Currently, no decision has been taken. Once the release date is decided, we will notify you through an official statement,” said Netflix, quoted from Soompi, Saturday (9/3/2024).
Previously in December 2023 it was reported that Yoo Ah In's scenes would be edited as much as possible. “We will provide further information regarding the specific release schedule as soon as it is confirmed,” the production team said.
