Hasan Fawzi Becomes DK OJK Supervises Crypto Assets, This Requests Industry Players

Liputan6.com, Jakarta Commission XI DPR RI has decided Hasan Fawzi to become a new member of the Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority (DK OJK) for the 2023-2028 period on Monday, 11 July 2023.

Hasan Fauzi will serve as Chief Executive of Supervision of Financial Sector Technology Innovation, Digital Financial Assets and Crypto Assets.

In this regard, Tokocrypto CEO Yudhono Rawis as a crypto industry player in Indonesia expressed his pleasure to welcome Hasan Fawzi being appointed Chief Executive of Financial Sector Technology Innovation Supervisor, Digital Financial Assets and OJK Crypto Asset for the 2023-2028 period.

“Hasan has a background that matches his capabilities and has strong experience in the financial industry,” Yudhono told Liputan6.com, Tuesday (11/7/2023).

Yudhono added that his party appreciates and welcomes the policy framework consisting of the 7 pillars of the INOVASI strategy that has been introduced. We are also ready to collaborate with selected DK OJK in encouraging healthy and sustainable growth for the crypto industry in Indonesia.

“With good collaboration, we believe the crypto industry can be more advanced and provide wider benefits for society,” said Yudhono.

In addition, Yudhono expressed his appreciation for the efforts that have been made by CoFTRA in building a crypto ecosystem in Indonesia.

Yudhono hopes that under Hasan Fawzi’s leadership, investment in crypto assets can become more inclusive and touch all levels of society.
