In an interview, Huma Qureshi mentioned an incident from her early days in Bollywood. Huma said that ‘since the time I was 20 years old, I have heard others commenting on my body. Once seeing my photo on the front page of a magazine some people commented as well as lewd comments were made on my clothes. Many people have zoomed in on my photo. Not only this, some parts of my body were seen circled in the photo and shared with others.
Huma said that people often advised me to lose weight or undergo surgery. Not only that, a film critic told me. Your face is very beautiful. You are a very good actress but you are 5 kilos overweight to be a lead actress. I was very sad to hear this and started crying.
